An East LA neighborhood revitalization project of the Youth Policy Institute. Produced with assistance from artist Caroline Sieux.

A 96’ total length stained glass and ceramic mosaic on two pedestrian tunnel entrances in East LA. The site was home to the convergence of several local gangs and the piece was commissioned to unify and uplift the neighborhood. Local community volunteers including some gang members helped us create the work and peace, joy and gentleness enveloped the project. Created in association with artist Caroline Sieux. Sponsored by the Youth Policy Institute, the LA Department of Cultural Affairs, Cal Trans, the Home Depot and LA City Council Member Mitch O’Farrell.
