This 28’ wide mosaic mural resides on a curved amphitheater wall. It’s a part of the Stone Barn Nature Center in the great Deukmejian Wilderness Park of Glendale, CA. The artwork was sponsored by the Glendale Parks and Open Space Foundation and the City of Glendale’s Community Services and Parks Department. I’m proud to report that this project also served as a fundraiser for the foundation, successfully raising tens of thousands of dollars for its operations budget. Stained glass, natural stone and fused glass elements are included.
